Your Home Away From Home
AIM HIGH Flight Academy students are lodged at a hotel within ten miles of the airfield.
The facility has 32 single‐bed rooms, which will be in close proximity to each other as the lodging facility allows.
Room assignments will be managed by the AIM HIGH Flight Academy staff.
Each student is provided with a laundry kit containing all laundry supplies, including a laundry bag, laundry pods, and quarters to complete two loads of laundry per week.
Students have access to high‐speed internet in their rooms at no cost.
Meals include breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and snacks will be provided. All dietary restrictions shall be noted on the application.
Meet Our Instructors
We are very proud and honored to have a team of experienced and knowledgeable instructors to lead the AIM HIGH Flight Academies. Each instructor was chosen for the ability to teach, relate to young students, and their number of flight hours.
There will also be eight Total Force USAF personnel present to serve as role models, mentors, Character and Education instructors, chaperones, administrative support, and other duties/functions as required for operations.
Training Aircraft
Students will train in a Cessna 172L/M/N, at a ratio of one aircraft to four students. All aircraft have current air worthiness certificates and registrations, and the AIM HIGH Flight Academy team will ensure regular aircraft maintenance on-site is conducted by highly qualified, FAA Certified A&P maintenance personnel.
Training Site at Peter Prince Field
The AIM HIGH Flight Academy training site is located at Peter Prince Field (2R4) in Milton, Florida. The airfield is located approximately 30 miles outside of Pensacola, Florida, and is within one hour driving from Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, and Hurlburt Field, Florida.
