The Basics

In order to apply for this program, you must be between the ages of 16-23. You must be a full time student in High School, College, or you can be an enlisted member of any service. College students must be enrolled at the USAFA or in AFROTC.

Students interested shall complete an application for admission by the annual deadline of November 5th, 2021. All information will be collected and stored by the Air Force Recruiting Service (AFRS).

  • A nomination from their school staff

  • GPA verification

  • One character reference

Twenty-four students will be chosen for each AIM HIGH Flight Academy, which includes twenty high school students and four college cadets from either the Air Force ROTC, Air Force Academy, or the Air Force Guard or Reserve.

Twenty-four students will be chosen for each AIM HIGH Flight Academy three-week-long trainings, and this will include twenty high school students and four college cadets from Air Force ROTC and the USAF Academy.

Student Responsibilities
